Inspiring multilingual collaboration across the country

Create and facilitate a bilingual panel at the Canadian Society of Association Executives' (CSAE) major annual conferences to inspire communities to overcome the challenges of multilingual collaboration.

Ensure that both French and English speakers have access to the same content despite the lack of a simultaneous translation service.

• Innovate by focusing on bilingual animation and visual presentation

• Bring together and interview two association leaders from different linguistic backgrounds working in the same sector

• Present a portrait of the linguistic situation in the country to raise the audience's awareness of local and regional differences

• Alternate facts, interactive quiz questions and practical interview questions

• Equip participants to assess their own organization's position with respect to language challenges

• Positive feedback from participants, panellists and CSAE Chair

• Invitation from CSAE to repeat the panel content at a second event
